Every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, the secondary school comes together in the middle of the day for a dynamic chapel program called Higher Ground. In many ways, Higher Ground is the heartbeat of our secondary school intentionally scheduled during the middle of the day.
On Mondays in Higher Ground, students participate in small groups in an effort to build relationships and develop individual passions in specific areas of personal interest. Wednesdays, we focus on leadership, life skills, and cultural issues from a Biblical perspective. Fridays, our talented student bands lead our community in engaging worship, which then, is followed by professional, or student speakers that encourage our community by addressing a wide array of topics.
The goal of our secondary spiritual development program is for students to encounter God, to experience Christian community, to encourage spiritual growth, and to develop servant leaders.
