LCA begins its university model scheduling in the 7^th grade. Consequently, parents may register their student(s) for individual academic and/or elective courses for grades 7-12.


7th Grade: English, World History, Math, Life Science

8th Grade: English, American History, Pre-Algebra, Earth Science

9th Grade: Freshman English I, History (Geography-fall/Intro. to Western Civilization-spring), Algebra I, Introduction to Physics & Chemistry, Basic Computer Applications

10th Grade: Sophomore English II, World History, Honors Western Civilization I, Geometry (includes Honors track), Biology (includes Honors track), Spanish I

11th Grade: Junior English III, American History, Honors Western Civilization II, Algebra II (includes Honors track), Chemistry (includes Honors track), Spanish II

12th Grade: Senior English IV, Government & Economics, Honors Western Civilization III, Personal Finance, Honors Pre-Calculus, AP Calculus, Physics, Honors Physics, Anatomy & Physiology, Spanish III

7th - 8th Grade Electives: Speech (fall), keyboarding (spring), Praise Band I, Photography 101, Page to Stage/Books Brought to Life on Stage, Theatre Production, Art Combo, Ballroom Dancing

9th - 12th Grade Electives: SAT Preparation (spring), Praise Band I and II, Photography 101, Page to Stage/Books Brought to Life on Stage, Theatre Production, Art Combo, Ballroom Dancing

7th - 12th Grade Study Halls: Monitored study halls are provided each hour throughout the day.

7th - 12th Grade Chapel (Higher Ground): Time is set aside each M/W/F for students and teachers to gather for worship, Biblical teachings, prayer, and fellowship.  One day a week the students meet for chapel; on the other two days the 7^th and 8^th grade students and the 9^th-12^th grade students are separated into two groups for discipleship training and teachings in God's word.
