Elementary: Kindergarten through Sixth Grade
Academics at LCA exist to inspire a passion for God’s truth and beauty, train students to think critically from a Biblical framework, and encourage the virtues of life-long learning.
The immediate goal of the University-Model® educational system is quality, cost-effective college-preparatory education accomplished in a way that gives parents more time for imparting the faith and values they hold precious. The ultimate goal is that of producing wholesome, competent men and women of character who make a positive difference for Christ in the next generation.
- Dr. John William Turner, Jr.- Author, Character Driven College Preparation
The University-Model for Elementary Students is a five-day academic program with students spending 3 days in the central classroom and 2 days in their “satellite classroom” at home.
LCA Elementary, Kindergarten through Sixth Grade, is where our students are challenged academically while being loved and encouraged to grow in God’s word through classroom Bible class and Chapel each week.
Elementary students come to the LCA classroom on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, 8:00-2:30. Elective classes are offered Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, 2:30-3:30. See Electives offered below. Half day blocks are available for First Grade through Sixth Grade (Block 1 – Language Arts and History, Block 2 – Math and Science). Bible, Chapel, conversational Spanish, and recess are included in the full day option.
